SECOND day in Tanzania

I woke up this morning feeling dirty and not very happy because I slept in a tent with poop all over the ground outside! But when I finally got to my hotel and took a shower I was ready to get going and get started on my agenda for the day. I went on a walk (hike) with a few other travelers and a tour guide to see the annual migration of the wildebeests! There were so many of them it was unbelievable and they were all so cute. We had to hike up a big hill to see them all but I still made it and got a chance to see the ocean of brown blobs it was amazing! After as we were hiking back down the hill I saw a little baby wildebeest and it was so cute! I wish I could have stayed but sadly the sun was setting and the tour guide said if I did stay I would be eaten by lions and I couldn’t really disagree with that!

FIRST day in Tanzania

Wow it is my first day in Tanzania and every thing is very beautiful! The people are super nice and the water is so clear! Today I went on a safari. I saw so many new things and had so much fun and I made a few new friends! I went on the seven to nine day Kilimanjaro trek for 1,380 dollars. But I only stayed for one night and in the morning I got picked up and brought to my hotel. It was a great experience. While we were going by a few giraffes I smelled the most horrible thing I have ever smelled in my life(which is not the greatest thing I have ever experienced)! I looked over the edge of the jeep and I saw a huge pile of giraffe poop! It was worse than anything I have ever smelled before. OH I still have a little bit of the smell lingering in my nostrils!!! But anyways the smell was bad, I was horrified, and right at that very moment our tire burst and we were stuck for about an hour. I was scarred for life and I felt like even in my dreams I could smell it! So the next morning I was happy to be gone.

Tanzania

On my first day in tanzania I am going on a safari.

On the second day of my journey I would like to see the annual migration of the wildebeests.

On the third day I am going to ask around and find out where I can hear the Tanzanian national anthem

For my fourth day I have scouted out a place with wonderful food and lots of nice people! They call it Forodhani Gardens

My fifth day will be spent climbing mt. kilimanjaro which I am not so excited about because the name of the mountain is kill a man jaro, but I know i will be safe and I can't wait for the trek up to the top!

The sixth day will be fun i am going snorkeling.

The last day always has to be the best or else you remember the whole trip as boring, so for the last day I have decided to surf and just have fun!
