last day

Going to Rwanda has been amazing but you don't have to come here to put a smile on their faces. I just want everyone to know how they can help. You can donate to a

NON GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS
and help these people from right where you are sitting!
Thank-you for following me on my journey.

6th day in Rwanda

Im so sad that there will be only one more day after today in this magical place. Rwanda has grown on me over the last few days. These people that i just met, I feel as if i have known my whole life. They are all so nice and friendly.

On this 6th day of adventures i got to experience the weather here. It rained unbelievably hard. The feel of the rain and the humidity was amazing. This woman who was sitting under the same overhang as me told me of last years flooding and how it destroyed their house and their food supplies. This just adds to the list of issues these people deal with typically!

5th day in Rwanda

On my 5th day I watched the most beautiful rwandan traditional dance.

with their calming music and beats i could feel the love and hope of the people hear.
it throbbed in their feet.

4th day in rwanda

On the fourth day in rwanda I went down to the little shopping area and met the cutest old man that knew a little english. He told me about the traditions of Rwanda and told me stories of his past. Just listening helped me to understand that every person has a story hear. Each person has been through so much. It is amazing how they can still find so much joy to smile as much as they do.
