Im so sad that there will be only one more day after today in this magical place. Rwanda has grown on me over the last few days. These people that i just met, I feel as if i have known my whole life. They are all so nice and friendly.
On this 6th day of adventures i got to experience the weather here. It rained unbelievably hard. The feel of the rain and the humidity was amazing. This woman who was sitting under the same overhang as me told me of last years flooding and how it destroyed their house and their food supplies. This just adds to the list of issues these people deal with typically!

Maddy, Wow! what an incredible blog. Great pictures, great descriptions, wondefully distracting links. I especially like hearing your voice sounding like you are really there, enjoying Rwanda and struggling with it at the same time. I wonder what happened to Days 1, 2, and 3 . . . .
Also, this is so incredible, it needs another set of eyes (Pam's perhaps) for a simple edit. Your words and emotions and design just deserve one more edit so this blogs sparkles like the eyes of those kids you visited.
S . . . O, if it is edited.
i like your pictures and details in your writing looking forward to more
