Day three in tanzania

So I asked around and found that there was no where I could find the Tanzanian national anthem to listen to. Luckily I realized that the video of the children singing was students so I set off to find a school! Since I didn't even know if my plan would work I tried not to bring my hopes up. Also as I was looking around the town I was pondering what else I could do that day. Even if I did find a school, that would surely not take up a whole day! As I was searching I came up with a whole list of things I could do just as time wasters.

Stuff to do in Tanzania

Walk around see the sights
Find a good café or diner

Find a museum

Buy some souvenirs

See the sunset

It was taking a while so I started just quietly singing the national anthem hhhm hhhhhm hmmmm tanzania lalallalala tanzania tanzania lallalalalalaala. Then... I found it! What I had been looking for was just down the road and I ran, though not very fast, may I add, all the walking had tired me out! So I was slowly making my way towards the school when it hit me, "How am I going to hear them sing when I am outside and they were inside?" How was I supposed to know if they had already finished singing?" Then I started thinking "Don't kids usually sing in the mornings before they start class?". It was late afternoon and so all my plans were ruined when I turned around and started walking away I heard faint voices singing... they were singing!... I listened closer... AND it was not the national anthem! But what ever it was the singing was beautiful so I followed the singing and found the singing was coming from a church! I sat in the church for a while and listened to the wonderful singing then I left, ate at a wonderful restaurant called Khan's BBQ restaurant, then I went back to my hotel and had a long, well deserved rest.
