Sixth day in England

On my sixth day in England after staying in Bath we went to the Roman ruins to see the springs and beautiful old villages! We left the hotel and drove over. Once we got there, climbed out of the car, and walked down the street we arrived at the entrance. Inside there was a HUGE pool that the Romans would have taken their baths in. We walked all around the big building taking pictures from EVERY angle, and that was only the beginning. After we looked around we headed over to the natural spring. Even though I thought the warm pools were amazing I still didn’t feel any desire to swim in them because they seemed pretty gross! I sat with my feet dangling in the water; we were there for a few minutes then got up and started on our way to the next sight! We arrived at the large river that I had planned for us to walk up to see all the little hidden towns. Sarah took off her shoes then took her bag and pulled out a big ugly pair of water shoes. We sat there for a few minutes until her feet were nice and ugly. Now we were on our way up the river I was jumping from rock to rock while Sarah was wading through the water holding her ankle length dress up to her belly button showing her granny panties!!! Anyway, the first city we saw was a really cute town with only brick buildings. We strolled through the town and went into a few stores and just before we left we stopped at an amazing church. We then left, Sarah continued holding up her dress, and I continued being disgusted! The next town was bigger with more houses and some big chain restaurants. I decided that this town wasn’t worth exploring so we continued our trek up the river. A while later we came across a large farm with mostly sheep and a HUGE meadow, a small barn, and a big white house. We walked up to the house then realized that no one was home so we went back to our searching. It started getting dark so we decided to go back to the hotel. That was probably my least favorite part of the whole trip!!! Even though the scenery was amazing.
